Fondue in the Sky

Fondue in the Sky is a unique concept which I co-created for Swiss Mountain Resorts.  An experiential dining Event, open to the public whereby the entire telecabine infrastructure is transformed into a turning restaurant for a pop-up dining experience. Catering to 6 people per cabin, decorated in a cosy mountain spirit, depending on the resort's Gondola structure, the number of clients ranges from 240-420 people at a time. Due to the success of its debuts in Villars-sur-Ollon in the winter of 2016 and 2017, Fondue in the Sky expanded to the ski resorts of Verbier and Crans-Montana by winter 2018.

 

 A magical evening for clients of all ages, and original promotion for the resort, its local wineries and produce. Running the Gondolas in the evening is rare, as most ski resorts are limited to 5 times per year, raising the exclusivity and thus marketing value of the Event.

 

Fondue in the Sky is a project I co-created, involved in the entire concept: design, branding, PR, Sales, Marketing, Event Management including establishing Partnerships with local producers and Tourist Boards.
