Freelance Projects for Restaurants, Trade Fairs, Special Events, temporary, themed and seasonal concepts manifested through transformation and decoration of spaces.  Conceptualising a story, emotion, or theme through bespoke creations, sourcing decorative elements and set-up.  Client objectives vary from the need of creating more inviting, seasonal or thematic settings.

 

DE BETHUNE, SIHH 

For the set up for Luxury Watch Brand De Bethune, at the Beau Rivage, the client wanted a warm environment to entertain clients during the Salon with a luxurious winter feeling.  WIth only partial private access to the terrace, the trees defined the De Bethune space. Use of fur covered wood stumps, some in gold cages, fur, mirrored bar, candlelight added the warmth.   Swiss Mountain inspired elements such as the 1890s Sleigh became a conversational and photo area, While a customised jewel-toned coffee corner added a cozy corner for breakfast meetings. 

 

LA VOILE RESTAURANT

The criteria for la Voile, a restaurant opposite Geneva's Jet d'Eau, was to create a more inviting environment to the otherwise luxuriously decorated restaurant, and establish a bond with the local community.  As a result of playing on elements bound to the lake, sourcing and creating merchandising elements in this optic, replacing white tablecloths for crafted underplates, a touch of humour in the form of quotes, we successfully attracted a loyal and frequent clientele.

L'AFRODYSEE FAIR

For the annual Afrodysee Fair (previously L'Afrique c'est Chic), we were invited to create African Inspired artistic installations.

PUCES DU DESIGN

Responsible for the Restaurant Space of the Design Fair 'Puces du Design' in 2016.  The fair has a different country thematic each year.  With roughly 10,000 visitors, and a Swiss thematic, we decided on an open Food Court, with Main Bar serving Swiss wine and charcuterie platters and Fondue, served by the Swiss Rugby Team, together with Food Trucks.  The laid-back design of Picnic Tables with Daisies, Swiss Flag Carpet made out of grass, and a vintage Gondola.
